Dnipro has declared two days of mourning for those killed in the Russian strike on a nine-storey residential building on Heroiv Avenue. The announcement was made by Mayor Borys Filatov.

According to the State Emergency Service, three people were killed and 12 others injured, including two children, in the overnight attack. Rescuers recovered the body of a man from under the rubble and have completed emergency operations. More than 100 rescuers and 28 units of equipment were involved in the response.
The strike destroyed apartments from the fourth to the sixth floor. Residents of 72 apartments will be relocated, and approximately 54 units will need to be dismantled. Filatov said the city will assist affected residents with temporary housing.
Across Dnipro, around 1,200 windows were shattered, and several roofs and panel joints were damaged. A relief centre has been set up at Lyceum No. 130 on Heroiv Avenue, 38. Residents whose property was damaged have been urged to contact the Sobornyi District Administration to apply for compensation under the state program «єВідновлення».
