On the evening of October 18, after large-scale anti-presidential protests under the slogan “No Kings” took place in the United States, Donald Trump posted a video on his Truth Social social network created with the help of artificial intelligence. In the video, he is shown wearing a crown, flying a fighter jet with the inscription “King Trump” and “bombing” the protesters with a brown liquid.

According to The Daily Beast, the video shows 79-year-old Trump as a “king” with a golden crown, piloting a fighter jet with the words “KING TRUMP” written on it. Accompanied by music from the movie Top Gun, he flies over a crowd of protesters and “bombs” them with a brown liquid.

The Independent notes that the video quickly went viral and sparked a wave of criticism. Protest organizers called the post provocative and degrading, accusing the president of abusing artificial intelligence technology to mock civil protests.

Trump did not accompany the post with any comments, but he had previously called the participants of “No Kings” ‘anarchists’ and “people who don’t understand what order is.”

The video garnered hundreds of thousands of views in just the first few hours after its publication. Some of his supporters perceived the video as a joke, while critics saw it as a manifestation of contempt for democratic values.

Analysts note that this video is yet another example of the use of artificial intelligence in political communication, where the line between satire and disinformation is effectively blurred.
