“He fights tirelessly and loves his great country and people, just as I do for the United States of America. Viktor works hard to protect Hungary, grow the economy, create jobs, promote trade, stop illegal immigration, and ensure law and order,” the post reads.

Trump stated that relations between Hungary and the U.S. “reached new heights of cooperation” during his administration.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with him so that both of our countries can continue on this extraordinary path to success. I was proud to support Viktor during his re-election in 2022, and I am honored to do so again,“ Trump wrote.

The U.S. president called on Hungarians to vote for Orbán in the April 12, 2026, election, calling him ”a friend, a fighter, and a winner.”
