The Ukrainian delegation continues its work in the United States on advancing the peace process, security guarantees and Ukraine’s economic development. Talks involving senior Ukrainian officials are set to take place in Miami.

Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov said he had arrived in the United States as part of a Ukrainian delegation together with Kyrylo Budanov and Davyd Arakhamia to work with American partners on further advancing the peace process.

According to Ukraine’s ambassador to Washington Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine is continuing active consultations with the United States on the future security architecture and the country’s long-term economic development. She said talks involving Rustem Umerov, Kyrylo Budanov and Davyd Arakhamia will take place in Miami, Florida.

As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stressed, work is underway on two key documents — agreements on security guarantees and Ukraine’s economic prosperity worth up to $800 billion in total. These agreements could be signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The aim of the visit is to finalize these arrangements with US partners so that they fully align with Ukraine’s national interests and ensure a just and sustainable peace, as well as the country’s security and sovereignty.
