The Main Intelligence Directorate has revealed details of the new generation of Magura v7 marine drones, which were used in May to destroy two Russian Su-30 fighter jets.
The presentation of the unmanned platform was held behind closed doors, according to Militarnyi.
The new drone, developed by Uforce, significantly outperforms the previous version, Magura v5, in terms of size, power and combat capabilities. It is 7.2 metres long and weighs 3,400 kg. The increased weight has improved seaworthiness — the aircraft can operate in waves up to 3 points (compared to 2 in the previous model).
The cruising speed is 23 knots, and the maximum speed is at least 39 knots. The drone can operate autonomously for 48 hours, and up to 7 days when using a generator.

The Magura v7 can carry up to 650 kg of payload, allowing it to be used as a combat platform with a turret or launchers. One of the variants presented at the presentation had a machine gun turret with a gyro-stabilised optical-infrared module.
Another version is an anti-aircraft version. It is equipped with two aviation pylons with AIM-9M missiles.
The Magura v7 is also designed for logistics operations, patrolling, cargo delivery and even firefighting missions. In the future, it may be equipped with acoustic monitoring systems for maritime space.
