On September 1, variable cloudiness is expected across Ukraine. In the southern regions, and during the day also in central, eastern, and Sumy regions, short showers with thunderstorms are possible. The rest of the country will remain dry.
Winds will be mostly northeast, 5-10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 13-18°, in the south up to 21°. During the day, the air will warm to 26-31°, in the east up to 30-34°. In some areas, intense heat of 35-37° is forecast.
In Kyiv region on September 1, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected. Night temperatures will be 13-18°, daytime 26-31°. In the capital, nighttime temperatures will be 16-18°, daytime around 30°.
However, in the morning of September 1, it will be sunny throughout Ukraine, so schoolchildren will be able to head to classes without rain, reported meteorologist Natalka Didenko. At the same time, in the afternoon, some areas may see showers.
