Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported on social media that Ukrainian troops had carried out successful counterattacks in Donetsk Region.
‘Our troops successfully counterattacked and cleared the villages of Mykhailivka, Zelenyi Hai, and Volodymyrivka in Donetsk region from the enemy,’ he wrote.
According to Syrskyi, the most difficult situation is currently observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops have concentrated their main efforts. He noted that he visited the units defending this area, in particular the 25th Airborne Brigade, the 68th Jaeger Brigade, and the 32nd and 155th Mechanised Brigades.
Syrsky awarded the military for their steadfastness and bravery, and also listened to reports from commanders on the operational situation. According to him, the issues of additional ammunition, drones and electronic warfare equipment have already been resolved.
The commander-in-chief thanked the soldiers for their heroism during these decisive days.
