        Svitolina ends the season ranked 14th in the WTA standings, Kostyuk and Yastremska move up

        The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has updated its world rankings for the week, Champion.com.ua reports.

        Ukraine’s top tennis player Elina Svitolina finished the season ranked 14th, maintaining her place in the top 15. Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska each moved up one spot to 26th and 27th place, respectively.

        The only change in the top ten came from Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, who climbed from seventh to sixth after reaching the semifinals in Tokyo, securing her spot in the WTA Finals.

        Among other Ukrainians:

        • Yuliia Starodubtseva dropped three positions (115th);
        • Oleksandra Oliinykova rose to 135th place after reaching the semifinals in Florianópolis, setting a personal best;
        • Angelina Kalinina gained two spots (157th);
        • Daria Snigur jumped five (165th);
        • Anastasiia Sobolieva fell to 267th.

        Eighteen-year-old Veronika Podrez made the biggest leap, moving up 110 places to 317th after winning the biggest title of her career in Poitiers.

        Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka continues to lead the WTA rankings with 10,390 points, followed by Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and Amanda Anisimova.
