As of 16:00 on 11 January, 121 combat engagements were registered at the frontline. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting losses on the enemy and disrupting its plans, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Key areas of fighting:
- Kupyansk direction: During the day, the enemy made 13 attempts to advance towards our positions near Holubivka, Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Zahryzove. Nine firefights are currently underway.
- Liman sector: 16 clashes took place in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Hryhorivka and Serebryansky Lis, of which two are still ongoing.
- Kramatorsk sector: In the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky, 13 combat engagements took place, three of which are still ongoing.
- Toretsk sector: Militants attacked five times near Toretsk and Diliyivka. All attacks were repelled.
- Pokrovsk sector: Highest enemy activity. 56 combat engagements of varying intensity were registered in the areas of Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Zvirove, Novoandriivka, Uspenivka, Slovianka and Kostiantynopolske. Forty-six attacks were repelled, 10 engagements are ongoing.
- Novopavlivka sector: Five enemy attacks near Novosilka and Velyka Novosilka. The enemy also conducted an air strike with guided aerial bombs in Novopil.
- Prydniprovskyi sector: One firefight took place, the enemy was not successful.
- Kursk region: 12 enemy attacks were repelled, three battles are ongoing. The occupants carried out three air strikes on settlements and positions of the defenders, using four drones.
No significant changes were recorded in other areas.
Ukrainian troops are depleting the enemy along the entire frontline and in its rear.
