Serhiy Koretsky, a top manager in the oil and gas industry, has won the competition for the position of chairman of the board of Naftogaz Ukraine. This information was provided by Andriy Gerus, chairman of the parliamentary committee on energy and housing and communal services.

According to Andriy Gerus, the supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine today offered Koretsky a contract. After completing the technical procedures, Koretsky can begin performing his duties on May 1.
Serhiy Koretsky has been managing Ukrnafta and UkrTatNafta since November 2022. Previously, he held the position of CEO of WOG since 2013, and since 2018, he has been engaged in private business.
