On the night of August 27, the occupiers again attacked the Kherson CHP plant. The facility was struck with four guided aerial bombs.
This was reported by the “Naftogaz” company.
The CHP plant sustained critical damage — all heat-generating and power-generating equipment that remained at the facility was completely destroyed and put out of operation.
“The Russians struck an exclusively civilian facility that provides heat to a significant share of residential buildings in Kherson. This attack has no military purpose whatsoever,” said acting Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Serhiy Fedorenko.
According to him, the attack was aimed at depriving tens of thousands of Kherson residents of a source of heat ahead of the heating season.
