Russian troops have again attacked residential areas and educational institutions in Dnipro. At least seven people are known to have been injured, including two children.
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said that Russian forces once again attacked residential buildings and educational facilities in the city.
According to him, several hundred — possibly close to a thousand — windows were shattered in more than ten apartment buildings. There is also information about damage to heating networks near one of the buildings. Many cars were burned.
Preliminary reports indicate that seven people were injured, two of them children. Most suffered acute stress reactions, but there are also shrapnel wounds. City hospitals are providing medical assistance.
Damage was also recorded at a vocational school where locksmiths and confectioners are trained. The fire there has been extinguished, but the workshop and the student dormitory were damaged.
Two kindergartens and one school were also affected.
The city continues to collect information about other damage. Municipal services have already begun work to deal with the consequences of the strike.
