In Kharkiv, during emergency rescue operations at the site of a Russian airstrike on the Kholodnohirskyi district on June 19, fragments of a human body were found under the rubble of a warehouse building. The identity of the deceased is currently being established.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.
Work to recover the body and identify the victim is ongoing.
As previously reported, at about 3:45 a.m. on June 19, Russian aviation struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv. The occupiers used Universal Inter-service Gliding Bomb-5 in the attack.
One of the munitions hit a warehouse building. At the time of the strike, a security guard was inside the facility, and contact with him was lost.
Another Russian munition hit a private residential area. At least 40 houses and several vehicles were damaged in the attack. Nine civilians, including four children, suffered acute stress reactions.
