Russian troops continue to concentrate their main efforts on the Pokrovsk axis, but they are unable to break through Ukrainian defensive lines, according to the Eastern Group of Forces. With no success in advancing into the city, the enemy is attempting to bypass Pokrovsk.
The Russians tried to advance in small groups toward the settlement of Hryshyne, located northwest of Pokrovsk, but all of these groups were detected and eliminated. Ukrainian forces are holding designated positions in the northern part of the city and controlling areas south of the railway, which are important for future de-occupation efforts.
In the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration, search-and-assault operations continue, involving units of the Ground Forces, Air Assault Forces, assault regiments, and other components of the Defence Forces. In recent days, the occupiers attempted to move toward the central part of Pokrovsk under thick fog, but Ukrainian troops neutralized them in the urban area.
The Defence Forces continue cutting enemy supply routes near Pokrovsk and strengthening engineering barriers on other approaches. In the Myrnohrad area, Russian troops also attempt to infiltrate the city in small assault groups, but Ukrainian units detect and eliminate them in time. Ukrainian defenders maintain a firm defensive line, and additional logistics routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad have been organised.
The enemy continues to suffer its heaviest losses on this axis and is forced to deploy operational reserves. The Defence Forces are conducting comprehensive measures to strike and exhaust Russian forces.
