Russians attack Kherson and Dnipro: five children among the wounded

Five people were injured in the afternoon of 2 November as a result of an attack by Russian troops on Dnipro district, Suspilne Dnipro, citing a Telegram message from the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Among the injured are two children aged 8 and 15. The explosion damaged critical infrastructure, details are being clarified.

Around nine o’clock in the morning on 2 November, Russian troops shelled Zelenivka, a suburb of Kherson.

The Russians shelled the village with artillery. A 16-year-old girl was wounded. She has a polytrauma. The child was taken to hospital in serious condition, according to Suspilne Kherson.

Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that it had become known about the death and three more wounded as a result of a Russian strike on Zelenivka. Rescuers unblocked the body of a 40-year-old woman from the rubble, he wrote on Telegram.

Two more children were also injured – a 10-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl. They were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds and fractures. The children were hospitalised, Prokudin said.

The third wounded is a 67-year-old woman. She suffered explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as a fractured tibia, the post said.
