In the Shostka community, a 60-year-old woman was killed as a result of a nighttime attack. Two other people sought medical assistance, said the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
According to Oleh Hryhorov, during the night the enemy attacked civilian infrastructure in the community with drones and a missile, deliberately striking residential buildings. Large-scale fires broke out in the residential sector as a result of the strikes.
A 60-year-old resident of one of the houses died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Other residents were evacuated in time.
