The 1144th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From April 11 to 12, 149 combat engagements took place at the front. The situation remains the most tense in the Pokrovske, Lyman and Kursk sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched 101 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 183 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out more than 6,400 attacks, 215 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,789 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Karasivka, Duvanivka, Kupiansk in Kharkiv region;
- Mykolaivka, Chernihiv region;
- Petrushivka, Prokhody, Miropilske, Osoyivka, Taratutino, Krasnopillia, Velykyi Prykil in Sumy region;
- Konstantynivka, Zorya, Shevchenko, Novopil, Bahatyr in Donetsk region;
- Gulyaypole, Zaporizhzhia region.
Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Siversk directions
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy conducted three offensives in the vicinity of Kamianka and Zakhidne yesterday.
Seven occupants’ attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault near Holubivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka and Zahryzove.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 25 times. He tried to advance in the areas of Nadiya, Hrekivka, Nove, Katerynivka, Zelena Dolyna and Yampolivka.
In the Seversky sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the occupying forces near the towns of Ivan-Daryivka and Bilohorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, three firefights were registered in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Chasovyi Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 40 aggressor’s attacks near Kalynove, Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Pishchane, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Nadiivka and Andriivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaipil, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy tried to break through six times near the towns of Rozlyv and Rozdolne.
In the Huliaipil sector, there were three firefights with the enemy in the vicinity of Pryvilne, Novosilka and Burlatske.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy conducted four offensives near Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy attacked seven times towards the positions of Ukrainian defenders, but was unsuccessful.
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks by Russian invaders yesterday. In addition, the enemy launched 55 air strikes using 90 guided aerial bombs, and also fired 156 artillery shells at Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 29 from multiple launch rocket systems.
There were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
