A Russian drone hit a minibus on a highway near the Mykolaivka community in the Sumy region, according to regional governor Oleh Hryhorov.
Preliminary reports indicate that five people were injured, including a minor. One of the victims is in serious condition. All the wounded were promptly evacuated from the scene.
The minibus, which was traveling toward Sumy, was completely destroyed by fire. Hryhorov noted that regular passenger transport was not supposed to operate on this section of the road, as other routes are designated for such travel.
Law enforcement and emergency services are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
