        Russian aerial bombs kill two children and an elderly woman in Sumy

        On the night of August 4, Russian forces struck Sumy with guided aerial bombs. Two children and a woman were killed, and there were also casualties.

        This was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

        The bodies of two girls aged 5 and 10 were recovered from the rubble of their home. An elderly woman was also killed. Four more people were injured, and doctors diagnosed them with an acute stress reaction.

        Residential buildings and non-residential structures were destroyed and damaged in the city. Inspections of the affected areas and efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.

        According to updated information, six guided aerial bombs hit the city’s civilian infrastructure. Air defence forces shot down two more Russian aerial bombs as they approached populated areas.
