The Ukrainian Navy said the VENTURO was damaged and lost propulsion following the Russian strike.

As a result, 17 civilian sailors, all citizens of the Philippines, were safely evacuated to shore.

The Navy also reported that a civilian was killed. No further details about the victim were provided.
