Kremenchuk came under the most massive combined missile and drone attack since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to monitoring channels.
In the early hours of June 15, 2025, the city and surrounding areas were targeted with a range of Russian weapons.
The attack reportedly included:
- A mass drone strike involving approximately 30 to 40 Shahed-type drones
- Kalibr cruise missiles
- Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles
- Possibly also Iskander-M ballistic missiles
Explosions were also reported in other parts of Poltava region.
