Russian forces used 7,947 “Molniya” and “Lancet” strike drones between October 29 and November 4. Ukraine’s Defense Forces neutralized 7,225 of them — nearly 91%.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The General Staff noted that the fight for control of the skies continues not only over cities and towns in the rear, where Ukrainian air defenses counter conventional and jet-powered Shahed drones, but also directly on the front line and in frontline areas.

The Russian military is making extensive tactical use of “Molniya” and “Lancet” strike UAVs. The enemy uses them to target positions, military equipment and logistics of the Defense Forces, as well as to attack frontline communities.

Over seven days, Russian forces used 7,947 such drones. Ukrainian units neutralized 7,225 of them.

More than 1,600 drones in a single day

The largest number of “Molniya” drones was used by Russian forces on October 30 — 1,609 in one day.

On average, the enemy launched more than 1,100 such drones per day during the week.

The General Staff stressed that the Defense Forces continue to expand their air defense capabilities to counter all types of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.
