On August 14, Russian forces struck a private residential house in the Buryn community of Sumy region with two jet-powered drones. A 29-year-old woman and her nine-year-old son were killed, and there were also injured people.
This was reported by Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov.
As a result of the double strike, the house sustained significant damage and a fire broke out.
The woman and the child were killed at the scene. Four more people were injured.
Among the injured are the boy’s father and grandmother. They are in hospital with severe burns.
