Over the past day, Russian forces shelled 24 settlements in Ukraine’s Sumy region. As a result of the attacks, two people were killed and 14 others were injured or wounded.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
In the Bilopillia community, a 57-year-old man was killed in a Russian drone attack. A bus and a hangar were damaged.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 69-year-old woman was killed in strikes carried out by Russian UAVs. Six people were injured: a 26-year-old man, boys aged 1 year and 7 months and 4 years, men aged 29 and 54, and a 23-year-old woman. Private houses were destroyed.
In the Hlukhiv community, a 63-year-old woman was injured after a drone struck a residential building. Another Russian drone hit a vehicle, injuring a 71-year-old man.
In the Sumy community, an 11-year-old girl and two women aged 38 and 65 were injured during a UAV attack. A 13-year-old girl was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. An apartment building and a municipal facility were damaged.
In the Shostka community, a 34-year-old woman and a three-year-old girl were injured in an attack by a Russian drone. An apartment building, a store, a cultural center, and a vehicle were damaged.
