Russia attacked Ukraine with 70 attack drones: how air defense reacted

On the night of 9, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 70 Shahed attack drones and imitation drones.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military confirms the downing of 46 UAVs in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

24 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).

Private houses in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions were damaged by the fall of downed attack UAVs.

• According to the Kharkiv regional police, an outbuilding in the village of Nove Pekelne was partially destroyed. A 42-year-old and a 67-year-old woman were injured and were treated on the spot.
• In Cherkasy region, a drone attack also damaged residential buildings. There were no casualties.
• Over the Sumy region, according to the administration, air defense shot down 11 Russian drones. There is no information about the damage or casualties.
