On the night of 11 July, Russia was attacked by drones, with the Ministry of Defence reporting that 155 UAVs were shot down.
According to Astra, the drones attacked the Proletarsky district of Tula, where three large defence industry plants are located: the Instrument Design Bureau, NVO SPLAV, which manufactures multiple launch rocket systems, and Shcheglovsky Val.
Another target of the drones, Astra writes, was the Kronstadt unmanned aerial vehicle development company in Dubna, near Moscow. Residents of the city of Lukhovitsy in the Moscow region also reported drones, and the Lukhovitsy Aviation Plant named after P.A. Voronin is located near the site of the alleged attack.
In the Leningrad region, flight restrictions were imposed due to the drones, and Moscow’s Zhukovsky Airport also suspended arrivals and departures.
