On the morning of October 6, Russian forces attacked one of the bridges over the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia. Five people were injured in the strike.
This was reported by acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin.
Those injured in the attack on the bridge include women aged 24 and 59 and a 36-year-old man.
“Two more injured people — men aged 43 and 54 — are Red Cross employees. They were on their way to work when the Russian attack caught them on the road. Medics are providing all the necessary assistance to those injured,” the statement said.
Traffic across the bridge over the Dnipro has been temporarily suspended due to the consequences of the attack.

Also on the evening of October 5, Russian forces struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia. Five people were injured in the attack. A 63-year-old man in serious condition was hospitalized with burns and blast injuries.
