Poland is preparing the 46th military aid package for Ukraine worth 200 million euros. This was reported by PAP.
According to Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, Warsaw remains one of the leaders in supporting Kyiv. He emphasized that the country will also continue to help Ukraine, in particular by training the military.
“Out of 80-90 thousand Ukrainian soldiers trained by the EU countries, Poland has trained about a third – 28 thousand. We are ready to continue training on our territory,” the minister said.
According to him, Poland was the first to provide Ukraine with tanks, heavy equipment and ammunition, while other countries were only discussing the possibility of providing assistance.
“If we compare the level of our assistance with the country’s GDP, we are among the world leaders in supporting Ukraine,” Kosiniak-Kamysh said.
It is not yet known what exactly will be included in this package.
