On September 4, Russian forces struck Kyiv. An impact was recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and nine people are now known to have been injured.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Nine people were injured after a Russian UAV fell, seven of whom were hospitalized.
A fire broke out in a non-residential building, and part of the ceiling and an exterior wall were also destroyed.
Rescuers have already extinguished the fire, and work to deal with the aftermath of the strike is ongoing.
As a reminder, earlier today a Russian drone struck the central SBU building on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv, opposite St. Sophia Cathedral. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the drone was directed specifically at the office of SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad, whom he instructed to prepare an “adequate, tangible and, if possible, mirror” response to Russia for the strike.
