During the night of October 26, Russian forces once again attacked Kyiv with kamikaze drones. The information was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

According to preliminary reports, debris from downed drones hit residential areas in the Desnianskyi district, killing three people and injuring 29 others, including six children. The youngest victim is four years old.
One of the drones struck a nine-story apartment building at the level of the second floor, causing a fire that spread to balconies between the fourth and seventh floors before being extinguished. Another building in the same district sustained damage from a blast wave that shattered windows and damaged the façade.
In the Obolonskyi district, drone debris fell onto the roof of a 16-story building, damaging one apartment but causing no fire.
According to the State Emergency Service, over 100 rescuers and more than 20 units of equipment were deployed to respond. Thirteen people were rescued from the upper floors of the damaged nine-story building.
Emergency crews continue working at the sites of the strikes.
