The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is launching cooperation with Meta in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) development. This was announced by Minister Mykhailo Fedorov after a conversation with Meta’s Vice President of Public Policy for Europe Marcus Reinisch.
Ukraine already has a successful experience of cooperation with Meta, in particular in the fight against Russian propaganda and protection of Ukrainian accounts. A new area of cooperation is the development and implementation of AI solutions, where Meta can become a key partner.
“By 2030, Ukraine aims to become one of the top 3 countries in the world in terms of AI development and integration. Meta, with its advanced open source solutions such as Llama, can significantly contribute to the realization of this ambitious goal,” Fedorov said.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is planning to create an AI Center of Excellence, an international hub for the development and implementation of AI solutions in public sectors. This will be another step towards Ukraine’s digital transformation.
