On the night of November 19, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv. At least 36 people were injured, including two children. Residential buildings, transport, civilian facilities, and other infrastructure were damaged in the city, and the police are documenting the consequences of the shelling.
This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.
According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the occupiers directed 19 Geran-2 UAVs at the Slobidske, Osnovyanske, and Nemyshlyanske districts of the city.
More than ten apartment buildings, garages, civilian enterprises, an ambulance substation, a supermarket, a gym, a store, a school, dozens of cars, and trolleybuses were damaged in the city.
Thirty-six Kharkiv residents sought medical assistance, including two children aged 9 and 13. Doctors diagnosed the children with acute stress reaction.
Police, rescuers, and medics are working at the sites of the strikes to provide assistance to the victims. Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation into war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
