According to the State Emergency Service, at least 15 residential buildings in the capital were damaged or destroyed as a result of the overnight attack.

The most difficult situation remains in the Podilskyi district, where crews continue working at the site of a strike on a nine-story building. The building suffered destruction from the 9th to the 5th floors.

Rescuers continue searching for people under the rubble. Psychologists are working at the scene.

Emergency crews are also continuing to deal with the aftermath of strikes on residential buildings at other locations in the Podilskyi district, as well as in the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

In the Obolonskyi district, rescuers are still extinguishing a fire at warehouse facilities.

Earlier, authorities reported that Russia attacked Kyiv overnight with ballistic missiles. Air defense forces were operating in the capital, but debris and direct impacts caused large-scale destruction and fires in several districts of the city.
