On July 24, a Russian drone struck the locomotive of a passenger train in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region. The train crew and passengers managed to evacuate.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
“The monitoring group warned the train crew about the potential threat in time, allowing railway workers and passengers to evacuate the carriages,” the statement said.
As a result of the drone strike, the locomotive was destroyed.
Ukrzaliznytsia employees are arranging further transportation for passengers via a safe route.
