The Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation has decided on the mandatory evacuation of children together with their parents or legal representatives from five settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.
This was announced by the Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba.
Forty children from 26 families must be evacuated from two communities in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The children will be received and accommodated in the Cherkasy region.
“Mandatory evacuation is always a difficult step. But in conditions of constant shelling, it is the only responsible way to save lives, especially those of children,” Kuleba wrote.
