Russian special services may be preparing a series of protests in major cities in the south and east — Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

According to the ombudsman, they plan to involve mainly women, including mothers of Ukrainian servicemen who are prisoners of war or missing in action.

“The enemy expects that this will create the necessary emotional background, ensure media coverage, and provoke public resonance,” the statement said.

As Lubinets noted, such measures, according to the Russian Federation’s plan, are intended to destabilize the domestic political situation and put pressure on the Ukrainian military and political leadership, especially against the backdrop of consultations between Ukraine and the United States on the terms of ending the war.
