        Legendary Pink Floyd guitar sells for a record $14.6 million

        The legendary Black Strat guitar of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been sold at auction for $14.6 million. The instrument became the most expensive guitar ever sold. This was reported by Christie’s.

        The instrument is a 1969 Fender Stratocaster known as the Black Strat, which belonged to Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour.

        The guitar was sold for about $14.6 million, setting a new record for the most expensive guitar ever sold at auction.
