Russia has agreed to refrain from striking Ukraine until February 1 at Trump’s request, with the aim of creating favorable conditions for negotiations.

This was reported by the Russian state agency TASS, citing Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

“Trump made a personal request to President Putin to refrain from striking Kyiv until February 1 in order to create favorable conditions for negotiations,” Peskov said.

In response to the proposal to go to Kyiv, the Russian dictator’s spokesman also recalled that it was Zelenskyy who requested a meeting with Putin, and not the other way around.

Recall that today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow or Belarus is fundamentally impossible and invited the Russian dictator to come to Kyiv if he dares.
