At night, Russians launched a massive drone strike on Kharkiv, causing destruction in the Kholodnohirsky district.
At least 13-15 hits were recorded on civilian objects, including two enterprises, said Dmytro Chubenko, a spokesman for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
As a result of the attack, large fires broke out in industrial buildings covering an area of 1,000, 800 and 70 square metres, the State Emergency Service reported.
Eight people were injured, including three children. All suffered acute stress reactions. Residential buildings located nearby were also damaged.
A total of 89 rescuers and 29 units of SES equipment, as well as dog training and pyrotechnic units, are involved in the response. The city’s utilities employed 19 vehicles and 49 people.
