Several incidents involving explosions of pyrotechnics in public places took place in Moscow and the Moscow region.

In the Otradnoye district, a woman exploded a firecracker in the Fort shopping centre, after which the building was evacuated.

In the town of Korolev, a man set fire to a pyrotechnic product inside the Helios shopping centre, which also led to the evacuation of visitors. Later, the same man tried to set firecrackers on fire at the local police station, where he was detained, RIA Novosti reported.

In Khimki near Moscow, an unknown person set fireworks on fire in the branch of the ‘Russian Post’. Eyewitnesses captured on video bright flashes of pyrotechnics in the room.

Detained in Otradnoe woman (according to Telegram-channel Shot, it is a pensioner) explained that she fulfilled the instructions of telephone fraudsters. According to the channel, a man detained in Korolev gave a similar explanation.

Another explosion occurred in a bank branch on Sredneokhtinsky Avenue in St. Petersburg, reports ‘Fontanka’. According to the publication, there are no casualties.
