On the night of March 11, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a number of strategic Russian targets involved in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the production facilities of the Moscow Oil Refinery, which is capable of processing 11 million tons of oil per year and provides 40-50% of the needs of the city of Moscow in diesel and gasoline, were hit.
Explosions were also reported near the Stalniy Kony (Oryol region) line-production dispatch station, which controls the technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline and is an important component in the process of oil supply to the terminal of the Ust-Luga seaport in the Leningrad region.
According to the General Staff, it has become known from open sources that a number of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the Russian aggressor’s air defense.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces have detailed information about the strategic objects involved in the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, comply with international humanitarian law and take measures to protect the civilian population as much as possible,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasizes.
