The Russian army lost about 1,510 troops over the past day. Ukraine’s Defense Forces also destroyed 21 artillery systems, seven ground robotic systems and two cruise missiles.

Russian losses over the past day:

- cruise missiles — 2;
- vehicles and fuel tankers — 266.
Russia’s total combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion, as of October 28, 2026, are estimated at about 1,583,350 troops, 12,448 tanks, 25,609 armored combat vehicles, 51,674 artillery systems, 2,241 multiple-launch rocket systems, 1,727 air defense systems, 449 aircraft, 356 helicopters, 3,032 ground robotic systems, 585,795 operational-tactical UAVs, 5,140 cruise missiles, 35 ships and boats, two submarines, 167,738 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,859 pieces of special equipment.
The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated.
