As of 16:00 on 10 April, 85 combat engagements were registered at the frontline. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in an evening update.
The most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Lyman sectors. In the Pokrovsk sector, 27 attacks were registered, 22 of which have already been repelled by Ukrainian defenders. In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made 16 attacks in the areas of Druzhba and Toretsk. Active hostilities continue in the Lyman sector – the aggressor attacked eight times, four battles are still ongoing.
Moreover, in the Kursk region, the occupants carried out six attacks and fired over 200 artillery shells during the day. In other areas of the frontline, localised fighting and active actions by Ukrainian troops to deplete enemy forces continue.
Localities in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, including Prokhody, Esman, Ulanove, Maryine and Timonovychi, came under enemy artillery and air strikes. Petrushivka, Osoyivka and Velykyi Prykil were also hit by air strikes.
