Russia has intensified strikes along the front: by 16:00 there were 82 combat engagements, seven airstrikes using 23 guided bombs, and 126 shellings, including seven from multiple-launch rocket systems. Border communities in Chernihiv and Sumy regions came under fire.
According to the General Staff, artillery hit Mykhailchyna Sloboda, Yasna Polyana and Khrinivka in Chernihiv region, as well as Bobylivka, Studenok, Brusky and Tovstodubove in Sumy region. On the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk axes, Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks. On the South-Slobozhanske axis, three assaults near Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe and toward Doroshivka were beaten back; one engagement is ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy tried three times to advance near Petropavlivka and toward Pishchane and Bohuslavka. On the Lyman axis, there were seven attacks near Kolodyazi and Torske; four fights are in progress. On the Siversk axis, the Defence Forces repelled three attempts near Fedorivka and toward Yampil and Dronivka. On the Kramatorsk axis, two attacks toward Stupochky were repelled.
On the Toretsk axis, Russian forces attempted to push forward 13 times in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka and Rusyn Yar; Kostiantynivka was hit with glide bombs. On the Pokrovsk axis, 28 attacks were recorded in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nykonorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Sukhetske, Novoekonomichne, Mykolaivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Kotliarivka and Dachne; one engagement continues.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Ukrainian defenders are holding back assaults near Sіchneve, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Maliivka, Novomykolaivka, Berezove and Novohryhorivka: six of 13 attacks have been repelled, seven battles are ongoing. On the Huliaipole axis, three attempts to advance near Poltavka were repelled and two engagements continue; Bilohiria suffered an airstrike. On the Orikhiv axis, five attempts near Stepove, Kamianske and toward Novoandriivka were pushed back. On the Prydniprovia axis, an enemy assault failed, and Mykolaivka was struck from the air.
