        Four people killed in Russian attack on Kyiv, two children among 25 injured

        On the night of June 15, Russian troops carried out a massive strike on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and attack drones. Twenty-five people are known to have been injured, including two children. The death toll has risen to four people.

        This was reported by the Kyiv police.

        Fires, destruction of residential buildings, damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties were recorded in different districts of the capital.

        According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the greatest destruction was recorded in the Obolon district. About 30 vehicles, warehouse facilities and residential buildings caught fire there. In one apartment building, a fire broke out and destruction occurred between the third and fourth floors. A nine-storey residential building was also hit, followed by a repeated strike. Two injured people were handed over to medics.

        In the Podil district, fires broke out in a private house and an apartment building after the strikes.

        In the Pechersk district, Russian strikes caused fires in residential buildings. In addition, the roof of one of the capital’s churches caught fire over an area of 800 square metres.

        In the Solomianskyi district, fires broke out on the fifth and sixth floors of a nine-storey residential building after it was hit. Rescuers evacuated 12 people, including three children.

        In the Holosiivskyi district, a warehouse building caught fire, and a critical infrastructure facility was also hit.

        In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a non-residential building, residential houses and commercial facilities were damaged. Three people were rescued from a 25-storey residential building, and another resident was freed from an elevator and handed over to medics with burns.

        Preliminary information indicates damage to a private residential house in the Dniprovskyi district, a fire on the territory of an educational institution in the Desnianskyi district, falling debris followed by fire in the Darnytskyi district, and damage to residential buildings in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

        Rescuers and all emergency services are working at the sites. Information on the consequences of the attack is being уточняется.
