As of 4:00 p.m. on May 10, 84 combat clashes have occurred along the front line. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The situation remains most intense in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions, where active fighting continues.
Ukrainian forces are holding the line, repelling attacks, and disrupting the enemy’s offensive plans. In the Pokrovsk direction alone, Russian troops attempted to storm Ukrainian positions 31 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 of those assaults, and four battles are still ongoing.
In the Kursk direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks, all of which were repelled. Four more combat clashes are in progress. In addition, the enemy carried out three airstrikes, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and conducted 156 artillery attacks, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Kharkiv direction, one assault near Vovchansk was repelled, and another is still underway near Kamianka. No enemy activity was recorded in the Kupiansk direction.
In the Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Novopavlivka, Orikhiv, and Dnipro River directions, Russian forces attempted to advance but were stopped everywhere. Fighting continues near Bila Hora, Predtechyne, Novopil, and Shevchenko.
In the Hulyaipole area, Russian aircraft struck Malynivka and Zaliznychne with unguided rockets. No significant changes were reported on other fronts.
Russian artillery also shelled several populated areas, particularly in Sumy region, including Chuykivka, Maryine, Brusky, Ulanove, Yastrubshchyna, and Bila Bereza.
