A Russian drone attacked the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv and hit an apartment building. Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this.
Initial reports said the drone had struck between the seventh and eighth floors of the high-rise building.
Syniehubov later clarified that the UAV hit the facade of the residential building at the level of the 10th floor. Window glazing was damaged as a result of the strike.
According to regional authorities, a 59-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction after the drone attack. Medics provided her with the necessary assistance.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
Kharkiv is regularly targeted by Russian drone, missile and guided bomb attacks. Local authorities urge residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to stay in safe places during strike threats.
