The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, met with US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, in Munich.
The main topic of the meeting was the coordination of work to achieve a lasting peace, the Office of the President of Ukraine reported.
“Putin never plays by the rules. Do not be fooled,” Yermak said. “Russians respect only force and despise those who do not use it. Russia does not stop when it promises, but when it is forced to do so,” the head of the office emphasized.
Yermak also emphasized that the United States’ support for Ukraine should continue. “Helping Ukraine now is much cheaper than confronting a stronger Russia later,” he said.
Andriy Yermak and Keith Kellogg also discussed preparations for the planned summit meetings and the visit of the US special envoy to Ukraine, the Presidential Office of the President of Ukraine reported.
