During the night of April 2 (from 18:00 on April 1), the enemy attacked with 172 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones, about 120 of them were Shahed-type UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 147 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits of 22 strike UAVs were recorded at 12 locations, as well as debris from downed drones at 8 locations,” the statement said.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
