Russian troops continue their attempts to occupy Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region, increasing pressure on Ukrainian positions in the area. This was reported by the analytical project DeepState.
According to their information, enemy infiltration into Pokrovsk is ongoing, with Russian forces present in many parts of the city. The occupiers are actively deploying pilot crews to support infantry and disrupt Ukrainian logistics, while also moving mortar units closer to strengthen fire control.
DeepState notes that Pokrovsk is not encircled — Russian troops are infiltrating from the south — while Myrnohrad faces the threat of operational encirclement with all supply routes potentially cut off. On the eastern outskirts, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold and is conducting assaults along the Novoekonomichne–Mykolaivka–Myroliubivka–Kozatske line.
The situation is aggravated by the near-total disruption of logistics: movement around the city has become extremely dangerous due to ambushes, drone attacks, and mine threats. Ukrainian soldiers report that Russian infantry has even managed to install engineering barriers.
According to DeepState, the key supply point remains the settlement of Rivne near Pokrovsk, where enemy forces are concentrating. Analysts warn that without restoring logistical routes, holding Myrnohrad will become increasingly difficult.
